There are many things you could do with an extra room in your house. With these 12 ideas and a little painting, planting, and rearranging you will have a new room in no time at all.

No matter the reason for your extra room, fill it's walls with play, laughter, study, or tranquility.

Often people don't have the luxury to think about what they are going to do with a room, because every inch of their house is being utilized. If you are one of those lucky people who have some extra room, don't think your new idea for the room has to be practical or common, but rather an extension of your imagination. Transform the surroundings of this room into something you can feel good about. Here are some ideas you can use as a starting point for the room of your dreams.
